I am very pleased to introduce the new dynamic website of the Floriculture Society Noida,of which I am the president. Our Society was formed by a group of like minded people who got together to ensure a Clean Green & floriferous Noida. The emphasis was on tree plantation and educating people about new plants especially flowers.. With Mr.GB Pant at the helm the Society extended its scope of activities to Greater Noida. With the passage of time,the Society has widened it's ambit to include all activities relating to Horticulture,be it growing flowers tree plantation,growing vegetables,Bonsai,Cactii& succulents,water plants etc.It now has members from Noida ,Greater Noida and NCR.The monthly meetings has lectures,demos or workshops by eminent horticulturists.The field trips to various Nurseries in and around NCR,to some beautiful farmhouses keep our members enthused.

The Society is actively engaged in dealing with the issues of air pollution,water conservation and greening of the cities .Besides organising seminars,distribution of pamphlets to the public at large,the Society has been highlighting the issues by way of special displays in the annual flowershow namely the Vasant Utsav for years now.
