1. Annuals - : The summer season flowering annuals should be watered frequently. It is time to sow rainy season flowering annuals like Balsam, Godetia etc.
2. Bulbs - Summer bulbs like Football Lilly and Caladium should be watered frequently.
3. Chrysanthemum - After mid of moth is time to prepare Chrysanthemum cuttings. Cut 7-10 cm size plant terminals. Treat the cut end with Seradix powder and plant in sand bed under shade for rooting. Keep the bed moist and transplant the rooted cuttings after 2-3 weeks.
4. Rose - Regular watering, weeding and hoeing is important to keep the plants in good condition.
5. Vegetables - Bittergourd, Bottlegourd, Tinda, Spongegourd, Sembeans, seed can sow this month. Papper, Onion, Tomato and Brinjal/ Eggplant seedlings can be transplant this month.
6. Permanent Plants - Move the newly planted saplings in shade to protect them from direct heat. Irrigate the plants regularly this month. Late flowering types of Bougainvillea may be pruned after flowering is over.
7. Potted Plants- Frequent watering is important this month due to extreme heat. Keep rotating the plants from indoors to outer shady areas.
8. Lawns - Irrigate the lawn twice a week. Expose the area of lawn with weed seeds to direct sunlight to kill weeds and roots.
